Description:
Steel through-hardened to ca. 30 HRC hardness. Has good machinability. Suitable for texturing and electric erosion treatment. Characterised by great polishability in comparison to grade 40CrMnMoS8-6.
Applications:
Large- and medium-sized plastic moulds, framework for injection moulding & die casting industry, general machine construction components. Housings & inserts for high-sheen plastic moulds and die casts.
