Description:
Popular and commonly used steel for heat treatment, chemical treatment, and carburizing. Has a more durable core than grades 1.7131, 16MnCr5, 16HG. Suitable for machining, welding after preheating, and cutting.
Applications:
Parts exposed to high abrasive wear and working under heavy stress: piston pins, levers, scroll wheels, sleeves, camshafts & other vehicle parts.
