Description:
Cold work tool steel for oil-hardening. After toughening becomes slightly ductile and dimensionally stable. Characterised by hardness and resistance to abrasion. Easily machined. Sensitive to work at high temperatures.
Applications:
Machining and shearing tools, taps, dies, profile drills, reamers, cutters, cutting plates, gauges, small dies, shaped rollers for sheet metal processing.
